Can’t believe spring is almost upon us. 1st of September is Spring Day and the public pools will be open Yippee! The signs of spring are everywhere in the garden. Hope we have no unexpected cold fronts again. When I went out with my camera I had expected to take a few shots and that would be that but these little critters are so fast and they not exactly bursting with excitement over having their picture taken either. Really needed to practice my patience. I was very excited to see that this turned out and was so worth the time taken.

I think from my previous posts it has become obvious that I am crazy about all and any animal. The only creatures I am Not into are spiders - when I see them I become crazy with fear. My latest addition is my collection of Kitty Cats and I absolutely love them. They're really photogenic and love the attention as cats do. From Left to Right: Tommy, Tammy, Meera, Friskie, Smokey and Cleo.
Today I had some fun n the garden with my chickens...
Loving my photo shoots with them, feel like they should be totally famous and need some awesome names. Please leave any suggestions in the 'Comments' I look forward to reading all of your suggestions. Then why are we the only ones out here? Took my new friends out to the lawn for a photoshoot.
The late afternoon light was against me, but I was able to balance my camera on some pebbles and use my remote shutter release to capture the longer exposure time. I am happy with the results and even had a little fun telling a story with the little guy. Had an afternoon out at the local coffee shop and here are some photos from their beautiful gardens.
I have really been enjoying my walks around the garden with all the signs of spring everywhere. Here are some birds I spotted enjoying the sun. Young dove sunning itself Dove sitting on her nest Dove keeping watch at the top of a branch Doves chilling together on a branch near the top of the pepper tree Weaver busying constructing his nest
The first signs of spring are here at last. So glad winter is over and the warmer weather is here. Took these photos in the garden during my daily walk around. Enjoy!
Our favourite time of the day - walkies and exploring everywhere. My babies love spending time with me enjoying the garden especially now that winter is coming to an end.
